TRW True Originals DTEC brake pads offer all the safety benefits of our COTEC coating range, plus low-dust technology to reduce rim surface dust levels by 45%.
TRW True Originals brake pads are fitted with high quality shims that act as a damper on the backing plate - we use the same metal and rubber shim combination and special adhesive that's used in original equipment.
Our friction components are tested in our NVH (noise vibration harshness) laboratories and on the road, so we can keep pushing the technology further. For example, we also use a fibreglass material as well as rubber for the shims of our aftermarket brake pads, and even produce integrally moulded shims and a multi-layer construction to maximise noise reduction in new brake pads.

All brake rotors and drums are now supplied with a uniue black passivation finish, to make you stand out from the rest. This easy to wipe off finish, replaces the need to wash down the heavy-duty packing/storage oil, used in the past. A sure winner with reduced fitment times for all fitters. The passivation process increases surface rust resistance on those areas, away from the braking surface. Our product offers a direct fitment, without the need for modifications.
As part of RDA's enhanced offering, Our brake rotors and drums are heat tempered, to ensure longer life in the metal composition and structure. We are in the transitional period, moving our current rotor range from silver to the Gun Metal finish.Our rotors and drums have been manufactured at the same plant for the last 15 years so whether a silver or Gun metal finish, rest assured, they are of the same high quality.
