Convoy Fleet Gear 50 is a multipurpose heavy duty , transmission , hydraulic and final drive oil manufactured from highly refined mineral oils and selected additives to provide excellent performance in a wide range of equipment in both on and off highway service.
Application
Convoy Fleet Gear 50 is a SAE 50 and is recommended for use in the final drives of Caterpillar equipment that specify this grade and in a wide range of manual transmissions that require API CD SAE 50 engine oils and GL-1 90 to GL-3 90 gear oils.
These include Dana-Spicer, Eaton Fuller (Roadranger) and Volvo.
Convoy Fleet Gear 50 has extremely high load carrying ability to protect heavily loaded gears and bearings. In addition it also provides controlled friction to assure quick lock up of clutches and discs in power shift transmissions. This reduces heat and wear .
Convoy Fleet Gear 50 is completely compatible with all transmission materials.
