Convoy Fleet Gear 80W-90 (Semi Synthetic) is a high performance, semi synthetic, heavy duty gear oil developed for differentials and final drives in light and heavy commercial vehicles.

It meets API GL-5, SAE J2360 as well as many other manufacturer specifications

Application

Convoy Fleet Gear 80W-90 (Semi Synthetic) is suitable for use in final drives, differentials, transfer cases and transaxles in trucks, buses, vans, 4wds, construction, earthmoving and agricultural equipment, where this viscosity and grade is required. It may also be used in non-synchronised manual transmissions requiring API GL-4 or GL-5 lubricants where it provides superior shift quality and long life usage.

It is suitable as a replacement where SAE 85W-140 gear oils were previously used in heavy duty vehicle differentials as well as providing Limited Slip capability making it suitable for light commercial vehicles with limited slip differentials. It provides a superior level of protection under heavy duty conditions including shock loads, preventing wear and maintaining the life of critical drivetrain parts
