Penrite EGR & Intake Cleaning Fluid Increases Engine Performance By Up to 15% 1L

Product Description

EGR & INTAKE CLEANING FLUID is a professional automotive cleaning product designed to be used with the Penrite EGR Cleaning Tool that effectively cleans build up of deposits on intake and exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.

Application

EGR & INTAKE CLEANING FLUID is designed for use in in all diesel vehicles fitted with EGR systems. A wide range of engine adapters are available for use with the EGR CLEANING MACHINE designed to suit most vehicles.

Instructions:

Use appropriate PPE including safety glasses and Penrite Quick Gloves and work in a well-ventilated area

Start and run the engine & bring it up to normal operating temperature, shut engine off

Attach the aerator assembly to the EGR CLEANING MACHINE. Ensure the air valve (top fitting) and the fluid valve (bottom fitting) are closed

Unscrew the cap and fill the chamber with 1L of EGR & INTAKE CLEANING FLUID

Reinstall the filler cap and hang the EGR CLEANING MACHINE from the bonnet latch (Ensure the bonnet struts will support the weight of the machine including the fluid)

Determine the access point for the EGR CLEANING MACHINE. The best location is as close to the throttle body as possible. *DO NOT APPLY PRODUCT THROUGH THE MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR OR TURBO CHARGER*.

When using the S-Tool attachment, loosen the air hose fitting and attach the S-Tool to the hose and then reattach the hose.

Start and run the engine

Insert the S-Tool attachment into the EGR CLEANING MACHINE

Connect the airline and set the pressure to between 50 - 60 psi

Open the air valve, and adjust the regulator to maintain a pressure between 50-60psi

When using the EGR CLEANING MACHINE, raise the RPM to 1200RPM and open the liquid line on EGR CLEANING MACHINE and continue until the canister is empty

Once the canister is empty or the clean is finished, turn off liquid line on the EGR CLEANING MACHINE

Shut off the airline on EGR CLEANING MACHINE

Disconnect the air hose from EGR CLEANING MACHINE

Allow the vehicle to idle for 2 minutes for engine system to cool down

Turn off the vehicle

Disconnect the EGR CLEANING MACHINE from the throttle body

Thoroughly clean the air intake hose to remove any residual fluid and reattach

Remove the EGR CLEANING MACHINE from the bonnet latch

Road test for 15-20mins and cycle through high and low engine loads

Note:Ensure you always watch the vehicle during the cleaning service. At any time during the intake service, if you hear a diesel knock sound, turn the fluid valve to the closed position for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes turn the fluid valve to the open position and continue the service.
