Premium Mineral 15W-40 is a high quality mineral, SAE 15W-40, engine oil made from pure hydrocracked base oils and an advanced anti- wear additive system for complete engine protection.

Application

Premium Mineral 15W-40 is designed for use in modern 4, 6 & 8+ cylinder, multi-cam, multi-valve (including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged & turbocharged engines. It is also suitable for use in rotary engined vehicles such as Mazda RX series vehicles that require this viscosity grade.

Premium Mineral 15W-40 is recommended for use where SAE 15W-40 or SAE 20W-40 engine oils are specified by the manufacturer. It meets the latest API SN Plus specification providing improved turbocharger deposit control, oxidation , aeration, fuel economy and low speed pre-ignition (LSPI) protection and enhanced wear protection. It can be used where API SN and previous specifications API SM (2004-2010), SL (2001-2004), SJ (1998-2000) or older specifications were recommended. It can also be used in older diesel engined vehicles where API CF or earlier is specified by the manufacturer. It is NOT suitable for use in diesels fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) that require an ACEA “C” grade Low- SAPS (Sulphated Ash, Phosphorus & Sulphur) engine oil.
